One password, your own list
Add a site in one line, remove it in one click. The same password opens all of them.

Unlock once, not every time

What is Web Lock?
Web Lock is a browser extension that makes the websites you choose ask for a password before they open. It's the app lock from your phone, for websites on a computer.
-
Is Web Lock free?
Yes. Locking sites, blocking sites, locking the whole browser and resetting a forgotten password by email are all free, and none of them needs an account. Web Lock Pro is a paid extra with schedules, a password for each site, fingerprint unlock, themes, sync and uninstall protection.
-
Which browsers does Web Lock work in?
Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera and other Chromium browsers get it from the Chrome Web Store, and Firefox gets it from Firefox Add-ons. It's made for browsers on a computer.
-
Can Web Lock see my password or my list of sites?
No. Both are saved inside your own browser and aren't sent to us, unless you choose to turn on Sync in Web Lock Pro. We do receive your recovery email, because that's where a reset code is sent.
-
What's the difference between locking a site and blocking it?
A locked site opens once the password is typed. A blocked site doesn't open at all, password or not, and can take you to a page you pick instead. Locking is for privacy, blocking is for staying off a site.
-
Can someone get past Web Lock?
It keeps out the people you share a computer with day to day. Anyone who knows their way around browser settings can remove an extension, which is what Web Lock Pro's uninstall protection is for. To keep a technical person out, give them a separate account on the computer as well.
Free stays free. Pro adds more.
Everything above is free, for good. Web Lock Pro adds schedules, a separate password or PIN for each site, fingerprint unlock, themes, sync across your computers and protection against uninstalling.
